SIGNAL BOOST!

ATTENTION all Pokemon fans, particularly of the Pokemon anime.  An inside source on the anime staff, whom will remain unnamed at this time, has told me that there is now a very real possibility of getting the Pokemon Company and/or TV Tokyo to release the “Team Rocket VS Team Plasma!” two-parter, which was postponed indefinitely by the earthquake / tsunami / nuclear meltdown of Japan on March 11, 2011.  While enough time has passed since the disaster, the anime moved on and phased the episodes out of continuity, and with no visible demand for them, the Pokemon Company and TV Tokyo have thus kept them shelved.

My source says that if many fans deliver signatures and messages on Twitter to the accounts @Pokemon_cojp and @TVTOKYO_PR calling for the release of these episodes, then there very well may be a response from the companies, and the episodes would be released.

Please, use your Twitter accounts (and if you don’t have one, make one) and join in on this movement.  Tweet to both the accounts listed above, either in your native language or in Japanese through usage of Google Translate, calling in support for the episodes to be released.  Use the hashtags #ReleaseTheEpisodes and #RocketVSPlasmaPlease.

Also, spread the word among all other fans that you possibly can find.

We need to show the Pokemon Company and TV Tokyo that older fans of the Pokemon anime worldwide have not forgotten about the existence of these episodes, or TV Tokyo’s initial promise to broadcast them later.  We need to show them that there is a high demand for them, and that it would serve them well to release them, particularly as the anime is set to bring the character of Sakaki / Giovanni, boss of Team Rocket, back in a substantial role.

Remember: this is a real possibility, endorsed by a member of the anime’s staff. Let’s not let it, or all the hard work of said staff that worked on these episodes, go to waste.

Let’s do this thing!

WOW, now that would be interesting to see! I hope there will be enough support on the Japanese side of things. Let’s spread the word and write a tweet. I don’t have my hopes high but who knows
 There were so many cool things about these episodes and it would be nice to see them released at some point.

Anyone knows how this is going on the Japanese-speaking side of the fandom? I assume that’s where the info first spread? Also, seems like it’s going nice, I hope more people will jump into it.

Literally less than TEN signatures needed now!!! ;3;

Unfortunately, I guess that’s just a first goal. So keep them coming!

Ultimately, it’s the campaign on Twitter and visibility of the demand on official channels of
@Pokemon_cojp and @TVTOKYO_PR that matters

Scientists at Orfield Labs in Minneapolis study how subjects react in their anechoic chamber, also known as the world’s quietest room. The sound level in the room, which actually has the Guinness World Record, is -9 decibels, compared to the average “quiet” room’s 30.

The key to the level of silence is the fact that the walls, floor and ceiling absorb all sound, rather than reflecting it, as most surfaces do. Thus the term anechoic: no echo. It’s so quiet, you can hear your own organs: your heart, stomach, even your ears, which make a tiny amount of noise. It turns out that it’s not an especially pleasant experience, especially in the dark. The longest anyone has ever spent alone in the chamber? Forty-five minutes.

Orfield Labs uses the anechoic chamber to test the noise levels of various products like LED lights. But watch out: it could easily become a place to drive people mad. (Source)

WIP I’m trying to draw Mosquito. And the hand up there is going to be Professor Chaos 😀 Was totally inspired by fanfiction.

I feel like the hands look awful though. Always the hardest part to draw. And really everything else xD

Sorry to break it to you, but Daenerys WAS raped in the books.

Because it bothers theonngreyjoy and I, and because we’re both tired of seeing posts insist the opposite, I’d like to clear the air and make sure we’re not erasing a victim’s trauma.

I like to reblog this every now and then.

Every time I see someone quote the whole “sun and stars and moon and blah, blah, blah" it’s so
 unsettling. In the books AND the show Dany is raped, abused, and traumatized.

Daenerys is sold into a marriage with a stronger, older, violent man who has an army of 40,000 other violent, vile men. Age difference aside (which is all I need, really) you’re telling me that’s not a power indifference already? Daenerys COULDN’T say no, even if she wanted to. Between Drogo and Viserys she’s left no alternative (except maybe dying
).

To make it even worse: Drogo saw how much pain she was in. Dany rode for so long she was in immense pain, so much so that she needed help getting off of her horse every night. Yet, despite knowing his wife was in pain, Drogo STILL elected to rape her VIOLENTLY. He listened to her say “no” (maybe) ONE TIME, and that’s supposed to be enough? Consent once doesn’t mean consent always.

And, even if this is “common for the time period!!!” It’s. Still. Fucking. Gross.

It’s not romantic. It’s not “relationship goals”. It’s a relationship based off of fear, rape, power, and abuse. Fuck Khal Drogo.
