Clinton Road in New Jersey is known for the many paranormal occurrences that have haunted locals and people just passing by for many years. There have been sightings of ghosts, Witches, Satanists, creatures with glowing eyes and even an evil truck trying to run you off the road.  

Cross Castle

In 1905, a man named Richard Cross built a castle for his wife and three children. Later in the 20th Century, it burned down making it a hotspot for parties and hangout spots. There have been many reported strange occurrences in or near the castle site, such as people going into seizures and having bruises appear on their bodies afterwards. Some have even heard strange noises and experienced disturbing visions and even Satanic writings have been discovered inside the walls where it’s difficult to access. 

The Druidic temple

The Druidic Temple is a stone structure that is believed to be where local Druids practiced their rituals. The building is actually an iron smelter left over from the American Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.

The ghost boy at the bridge

Legend has it, if you drop a coin over one of the bridges on Clinton Road near Dead Man’s Curve, a boy who drowned while swimming below will throw it back up to you. Don’t look under the bridge or you might see him. Another version goes if you put a quarter in the middle of the road where the yellow line is, at midnight it will be returned by the boy.
