If I remember correctly part of Kyogre’s inspiration might be from a creature some believed had a mouth so large getting swallowed by it would lead you straight to Hell buuuuuuut…
Kyogre is literally a force of nature and is absolutely terrifying with the (beautifully animated) apocalyptic deluge it brings in this episode. It’s incredibly well put-together.
Also…I really hope my fave villain boss just didn’t get eaten (tho, I’d have to call bs if he’s revealed to have survived), because holy shit.
