Heh, the Goggles of Determination have come down. 🙂
Although actually I think Yuya might still be using them to hide his emotions, just not in the same way that he used to. Before he would use them to keep anyone from seeing him cry or be upset, but now I think he uses them sometimes to cover up his nervousness in certain situations and to seem more confident. His determination is genuine but he’s got to be nervous about this draw too because it’s going to finish him off if he doesn’t draw something that can prevent that.
Hunh, now that’s interesting… He’s never put Odd-Eyes into the Pendulum Zone before. He probably doesn’t have anything in his hand with a high enough Pendulum number to be able to summon it that way though. But maybe there’s another reason for this choice as well…
Wow, lovely, now they have to deal with all the other prisoners being jerks to them as well. Guess the guards don’t care about the inequality or about their prisoners being undernourished. 😦
Ahh, so that’s why the guard let them keep their decks then. Cards are being used as prison currency. If you’re willing to give one up then you get better treatment than someone who doesn’t.
