Cabba’s protective brotherly nature toward Caulifla and Kale is just so adorable and sweet, he’s just so earnest in wanting to do what’s best for Universe 6. With their ace fighter, Hit, having been eliminated all that remains for Universe 6 are the Saiyans and Namekians so Cabba sees himself as more so expendable for the sake of keeping Kale and Caulifla from spending their stamina fighting off opponents. Cabba gave 110% of everything he had, he tried so hard he even managed to break past his limits and ascend to SSJ2 and take out Monna. After a heart-to-heart with Vegeta he gained more resolve in himself, it reminded me of how back at the U6 vs. U7 he showed many signs of having self-worth and respect issues, it was only when Planet Sadala was threatened by Vegeta did he unlock SSJ but before that he was ready to give up after having Vegeta beat up on him. It’s very endearing how he gave it his all up until the point where he was rung out and his main drive was so his Saiyan girls could have all of their energy to turn their attention toward bigger threats when the time would come for them to show out. 

Which makes sense, Caulifla was built up as a strong Saiyan and potential Goku-like, battle-happy genius from the get-go and Kale is just an anomaly with her special Super Saiyan form. Despite that, I love how he acknowledged that he was a Saiyan too with his own pride and that he wasn’t going to underestimate himself. I always liked Cabba and I’m glad he got his little time in the limelight, I didn’t expect much of anything from him here since I figured Caulifla, Hit and Kale would be the main players for U6 from the get-go. I appreciate the resolve, pride, energy and growth he got to showcase here. It’s unfortunate he ran into the Emperor of Evil but even while in a pinch he still promised to never give up and gave it everything until he physically couldn’t anymore. Cabba definitely has earned his strips as a Saiyan and character for me. Hit toward them last episode to do the jobs they’re meant to do for the sake of Universe 6′s survival and Cabba played his to the best of his abilities. There’s no arguging Cabba’s transformation into Super Saiyan 2 felt earned through pure emotion, work and pain.
