… Well, that is without a doubt the most accurate depiction of our!Ciel’s character in the whole series: he’s so terrified of being happy that he’s lying to himself about how much he actually cares for some people, Lizzie being the most concerned, and that is what I love the most about Ciel/Lizzie from his perspective => he’s trying so hard to be alone that he’s almost clueless when it comes to his own attitude towards Lizzie.

As for where Lizzie is concerned, what I like the most

…is how selfless and loving she is when it comes to Ciel. To some extent that’s also a flaw of hers, but a flaw doesn’t mean that it can’t be appreciated. 

And so, “when Ciel’s cluelessness meets Lizzie’s selflessness” it gives cute moments like:
