Harold is one of the creepiest dolls weâve ever come across. Check out the following story from his last owner:
âHarold
was originally put up for auction in 2003. He is supposedly the first
haunted doll ever sold on eBay. The listing Greg wrote made him the
subject of websites, and news articles around the world.
I
didnât see the original auction, until Kathy, who won the auction put
it up for sale a year later. Kathy told me that the reason she bid on
the doll was not because she believed the stories, but because she
wanted to learn doll restoration, and her teacher told her that this
doll was perfect to learn on.
A year later,
after having a number of personal experiences, including the deaths of
two people she knew after they came in contact with Harold, she decided
to put the doll back up for sale.
When I saw
Kathyâs auction on eBay, I looked at Gregâs original listing and
literally laughed out loud. I didnât believe a word of it or the video
he posted. So how did I end up owning this doll?
Kathy had a reserve on her auction, and I was curious as to what it was. I kept putting in bids until the reserve was met.
I
received an email from Kathy which started by saying, âI donât believe
Harold is haunted, but I do believe heâs cursed.â She went on to say why
she thought so, and asked why I wanted the doll.
I
told her I didnât want the doll. The next day I was outbid by someone
calling himself, âStrange Majik.â He told me not to bother bidding any
more because heâd just outbid me.
âYou might,â I
thought, âbut itâll cost you.â My plan was to bid him up and then dump
the auction on him. It didnât happen that way. I ended up winning the
auction.
Kathy was genuinely worried for me and
offered to let me out of the deal, but I declined. After all, I told
her, a deal is a deal.
Shortly after I received
Harold I asked a friend of mine to do a reading on him. I recorded the
reading. It didnât last long, maybe a minute or two, at the most.
âI canât do this. He just threatened to kill me.â
I
was disappointed, and skeptical. I listened to the recording and
clearly heard a male voice saying, âIâm going to kill you, bitch!â
I was stunned. I had more readings done, and seen people physically hurt in front of my eyes while in Haroldâs presence.
I
put Harold in storage in 2005, only taking him out occasionally after
that. This past June, of 2013, I took him out of storage to continue my
investigation of him. So far, four psychics have done readings on him,
and none of them wanted to have anything to do with him afterwards.â
Since I was bored, I decided to look for a new radio show to listen to and came across ‘Jim Harold’s Spooky Station’. Downloaded the app and headed to the ‘Paranormal Podcast’ in the app. There I watched the ep ‘The Black Diary’ featuring the author of the book Nick Redfern who btw, is one of my fave authors.
Anyways, during the show they discussed The Men in Black, Women in Black, and Black-Eyed Kids phenomenon. And Nick stated that people who have read books concerning the MIB phenomenon have had spooky stuff or even visits from the MIB themselves. And that the warning, ‘Read at your own risk’ on his new book, was no joke rather warning about these potential encounters and spooky activity.
So, this reminded me if my MIB dream that I wrote about here. And I’m just like ???? Is it actually connected?! The fact that I’ve been reading about Skinwalkers with its own warning of reading and was threatened by the MIB in my dreams :O I mean, he said it was mainly specifically books on the MIB, but still, it’s creepy. Lol. Plus, some people think they are actually demons or related to the shadow people.
Either way, I still want a copy of Black Diary to read. Especially because it looks like it was have new details about all this phenomenon I had not heard about.

I had such a freaky dream about the Men in Black, not the movie, but the phenomenon. Basically, I was in this building, I guess like a classroom cause there were a lot of people my age. I was all the way in the back of the room on the compter researching stuff. Next to me were a bunch of students clearly. On my left this guy was trying to teach another guy math and on my right were just other students hanging out.
Anyways, as I was on the computer, I think I had been on youtube cause I was mad that this guy had closed all the tabs. I exclaimed that I was barely going to bookmark that page. So, I went through the computer trying to find the button for history to go back to the page, but no such button. I guess, it was actually like a old computer cause it looked like the one in the 90’s for some reason.
Then, that’s where the Men in Black entered the building. Realizing this, with my nerves set and pulse racing, I quickly tried to close the webpage, but it was blank on that annoying ‘Not responding’. Luckily, everything closed before they got to where I was. They said they were, of course, looking for me and handed me a bunch of papers about what I had been researching.
The research was about an airplane that had gone down. Here, I sort of got like flashes in my mind, of terrorists, guns, something shooting towards the plane like a missile or something, fire, the crashed plane. Basically, what I had been researching was the truth and controversy of what happened to that plane.
Anyways, after handing me those papers, the MIB said that I had to stop what I was doing. And the next line sent chills down my back, ‘Or you will die.’
With that they left. And I was just there kind of with my mouth open in fear and shock. One of the main thoughts racing through my mind was the utter surprise that the MIB had made such a statement and entered a building with so many witnesses. Also, the fact that, I now understood why people would destroy all their research after such an encounter. It was intimidating and frightning, fearing for your life.
Thus, the scene changed and I was lying down with my mom next to me. She had been present for some reason when the MIB had showed up. In a quiet voice I explained to her what they wanted and whar they were. I also kept very vauge my research because I was fearful they wouls be watching. In addition, in the corner or my eye, near the shadows, I could have sworn I saw a shadowy figure with a hat. Much like the MIB would look in shadows or peraps the Hat Man.
At this point I was utterly exhausted and scared, fighting to keep my eyes open. Mom told me to try and rest, but I didn’t want to for fear that I would never wake up.

And this is when I pretty much woke up. I have no idea. Dream sort of freaked me out. I probably dreamed it because I read @sixpenceee stories before going to bed. Lol. And the only real parnanormal stuff I have been reading is, ‘Skinwalker Ranch No Trespassing’. Though, I’ve been reading it during long intervals.
And I’m just here like, this better not mean my life is in danger!!! Or that I will get a visit soon!! Or that there is a damn demon in my house now!! lol. Maybe I’ve made Satan mad cause I’ve been reading scriptures lol. If he is, more reason to, pffft.
This mannequin has been in a store window in Chihuahua, Mexico for the past 75 years. Pascualita also has a very unique urban legend behind her. Many believe that she is not a mannequin, but the perfectly preserved corpse of the previous ownerâs daughter.
Sonia Burciaga, a shop worker says, âEvery time I go near Pascualita my hands break out in a sweat. Her hands are very realistic and she even has varicose veins on her legs. I believe sheâs a real person.â
Other stories include Pascualita chaning positions on her own, her eyes following you around and the usual superstitions that come with haunted maannequins.

Let me start by saying that I know how hard this all will be to believe, but now that things have taken a turn for the worse I started looking for stories similar to mine and found Week in Weird.
