Your secret is s a f e with me. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â I wonât t e l l.
Oswald is and always will be fantastic when it comes to his cunning. How easily he figured out Fish planted Liza on Falcone and was absolutley right that once discovered, she was dead.
I need this to be addressed in S2 – seriously. Jim thinks that a man who wanted him dead is the best option for the city because he was friends with his dead father.
Not even that. What about the fact Jim does not know Oswald saved him in this instance? Some of us discussed this a number of times. We hoped the writers would address Saviour Oswald in the finale. Nothing.
Come on, Oswald! Whatâs it going to take for you to tell Jim that you saved his life?
I really hope that the writers donât just brush this under the carpet.
You have hope that Saviour Oswald will be mentioned in S2?
Some. Itâs shrinking, but Iâm clinging to it.
Thereâs a significant amount of âoopsâ around this plot point just about every way you look at it. It could be interesting, if they remember it exists.Â
It would force Jim to question his judgment about Falcone (which made no damn sense anyway).
It would also force him to totally reassess his thinking on Oswald, since Oswald didnât have to do all those favours – they were technically even. More than that, Oswald didnât try to use it to gain leverage over him, didnât even mention it.
I have a sneaking suspicion itâll never be mentioned again, though.
They take place in the same room. The same room Oswald told Ed that he wished he had someone to share his new life with. And that scene took place in the episode âAnything For Youâ. You know? The one with the almost kiss?
Also, Oswaldâs hair in the âEdward Nygma is totally straight sceneâ where heâs imagining his best friend seductively singing to him, thatâs the same haircut from when Oswald was running for mayorâŠ..the episode when Ed gave Oswald a love riddleâŠ.
But itâs probably nothingâŠâŠ
And Oswald in Edâs hallucination almost stands at the same place where Gertrudeâs statue stood.
