One week down, three weeks left!!

Prompt by @kino-san-chan​, which I suggest skipping reading for maximum drabble enjoyment.

I would love something about Platane being Evil inside :3 kind of, Platane manipulating Fleurdelys from the start? Or Platane crushing Fleurdelys (body or soul) by any way you could find appropriate :333 (or anything concerning Alan if you prefer)

“So that’s it?” Alan shook. “This is your great plan? These are your peaceful purposes? This is what you’d make of the professor’s research?” he spat, grinding his teeth, feeling his body burning hotter than Lizardon’s flame.

“I suppose you won’t help me anymore,” Fleurdelys stated, quietly.

“Of course not! I can’t believe—”

“Ah, what a shame,” said a soft voice.

Alan whirled around and found himself wrapped into a warm embrace. He knew those arms, that gentle smile.

“I was hoping I could continue to count on you,” the professor murmured. “Please, Alan. Won’t you do this for me?”

So, I was talking with Fingurken yesterday about the relationship between Lysandre and Professor Sycamore in the anime, and I think we might know the reasons WHY these two never met before, since it

seemed

really weird to me at first.

1. It seems like Lysandre doesn’t own a cafĂ© in the anime, which means he probably doesn’t live in Lumiose city.
2. His labs aren’t in his cafĂ©, in Lumiose, but somewhere else in Kalos, which means he can’t visit Lumiose city often.
3. In the games, Sycamore loves to go to different cafés to try new things, he even explained it in the games to the player, so this is probably how he met Lysandre in the games : he was going to his café and then they became friends afterwards because they discovered that they share the same passions : Pokemon, Mega evolution and coffee.
4. Also, Lysandre seems to be really busy in the anime, much more than in the games.
5. All because of this, Lysandre and Sycamore never met in the anime because they don’t live in the same city, and were never able to share a few words.

Damn you Lysandre, and damn your café. Just go and talk to each other already !

After replaying Pokemon X, I’ve noticed that the games give so many opportunities to play around with the idea of Sycamore’s involvement with Team Flare, and I couldn’t pass it up 😀

So true! I love me some shady Sycamore and Sycamore/Lysandre relationship.

Meanwhile, for all the development, the anime decided to make them complete strangers. How silly and cruel is that? Especially that you would expect a leading pokemon researcher of Kalos and a director of great
research institute to have some chat at some point. Not to mention
 the whole thing with Alan would be a lot more appropriate, dramatic and interesting if Sycamore and Lysandre actually knew one another. Not only befriending/manipulating/corrupting such a “pure boy” but stealing his good friend’s pupil for his own hidden agenda.

Y E S to all of this.

I think about what could have been. I love angst tbh, so imagine the potential if Sycamore had been with Lysandre since the beginning or at least supports him and Alain finds out, like would he still go up against Lysandre or would he be too shocked/pain to stand up to Sycamore.
