Gotham 4×01

Penguin was great this episode! As always Robin’s potrayal is simply amazing and my god, I can never read his facial expressions. Such an interesting and complex character, Penguin is!

Not sure how I feel about his liscening of crime, but dammit, he will always have me like:

Seriously though, it was amazing to see him see right through Jim’s manipulation and capture those gangs. U know, before Ivy had to ruin it *sigh*Just really writers

And then that scene with the fear gas had me like:

*throws vase against the wall*

Other than those two things, and well Jim being obnoxious, though this time around at least with licesing crime, I understand where he was coming from; the ep was actually great.

Just writers, LET PENGUIN HAVE SOMEONE LOYAL BY HIS SIDE. AND JUST LET HIM BE HAPPY, DAMMMIT

My favorite scenes from tonight’s episodes were the ones between Bruce and Oswald. Gotham hasn’t really given them much screen time together, and it’s good to see that when they did, they gave them quality scenes.

Oswald actually seems a little torn to do this in front of Bruce, strangely enough.

This scene really touched my empty black heart, tbh.

Just the look on his face and the way he spoke those words.. It was full of emotion that I just can’t read. Almost similar to how he was speaking to frozen Ed.

I swear, Oswald and Ed always have me like, WHAT DOES YOUR FACE AND EXPRESSION EVEN MEAN?!!!

I wonder if part of it was because Oswald of all people knows how it feels to lose parents you deepy cared for. And makes me wonder if Bruce maybe reminded him of a time when he was good or tried to have a good heart? Before he decided to walk down the path he did.
