337. Knowing what I know about Slytherin House’s values, the main characters who were Slytherins & about myself as a Slytherin, I think a lot of Slytherins are (or at least start out as being) a little bit broken/incomplete inside. They have survived some bad things in their lives and/or simply have low self esteem/worth & are v self critical. They’re ambitious because they have a NEED to prove themselves and to know that all the shit they went through would lead to something better.

329. A Muggleborn fy is heartbroken to learn she can’t bring her dog to hogwarts. She smiled dependent on him, so she sneaks him in. Eventually her housemates find out but it becomes a challenge to keep the Great Dane a secret. They take it for walks out in the dark and learns spells to teach it to speak or even help the girl become an anamagi to speak to him. Basically it’s friendship hidden behind a “ DOnt let mcgonall find out about our dog” HC as well as a slytherin house pet HC.
