2 episodes in and Dean already managed to traumatize, scare, and evilize Jack, who happens to be 3 DAYS old; to the extent of having him harm, doubt, and hate himself.

also, like, just in general. the show clearly fucking established that cas is jack’s father.
if samndean actually cared about cas at all, they’d want to protect jack just to honor cas and his wishes. yet dean wants to kill jack and sam wants to use him.
so where the fuck is the fandom getting “uwu imagine tfw raising jack~” from.
Use him? He spent the whole episode defending him. Sam wants to bring Cas – Jack’s adoptive Father, back and wants to open the door to the alt world to get their mom back.

Sam doesn’t want to use jack(?), he does want him to help if there’s a way. Jack wanted to help make everything better, but he can’t/or couldn’t I don’t know We’ll figure that out later.

the show established over and over again that cas is jack’s father and that cas would protect jack. meanwhile dean started off the episode trying to kill jack for no actual reason. the show literally showed how traumatic that was for jack because the next time he saw a gun he was immediately on the defensive and the next time he saw dean he was immediately on the defensive. the only reason why dean is even “interested” in keeping jack alive right now is because he doesn’t know of any way to kill him yet.
if cas were still alive, he’d be protecting jack from dean.
