“Why, whatever did you think this was? What all of these past few years have
been?

“Lysandre
saw your potential at exactly the same moment I did, but he was far too
impatient and propositioned you straight away. I took a more careful approach,
tested you, observed you, giving you the enormous task of uncovering the
mysteries behind Mega Evolution in my stead, making sure you practised your
potential, helped develop it into something more.

“Granted,
it took a little longer than I’d initially intended…but I had to make sure.
And I am very pleased with the results. After assessing your progress, I can
easily say with pride that you’ve exceeded my expectations, and I am now offering
you the chance to join us.

"Now,
please sit back, and allow me to further convince you why you should accept.”

Mmmyeah I’ve discovered that I have a nasty habit of trying to make fanon out of canon ¯_(ツ)_/¯

After replaying Pokemon X, I’ve noticed that the games give so many opportunities to play around with the idea of Sycamore’s involvement with Team Flare, and I couldn’t pass it up 😀

So true! I love me some shady Sycamore and Sycamore/Lysandre relationship.

Meanwhile, for all the development, the anime decided to make them complete strangers. How silly and cruel is that? Especially that you would expect a leading pokemon researcher of Kalos and a director of great
research institute to have some chat at some point. Not to mention… the whole thing with Alan would be a lot more appropriate, dramatic and interesting if Sycamore and Lysandre actually knew one another. Not only befriending/manipulating/corrupting such a “pure boy” but stealing his good friend’s pupil for his own hidden agenda.

Y E S to all of this.

I think about what could have been. I love angst tbh, so imagine the potential if Sycamore had been with Lysandre since the beginning or at least supports him and Alain finds out, like would he still go up against Lysandre or would he be too shocked/pain to stand up to Sycamore.

horse people are weird

what does this mean

horses can see demons

Horses flip out and run even though there’s nothing there to spook them

This is why when I got on a pony, and mind you I had never once ridden in my entire life, and this pony, I thought it was a horse. At least, I thought it was pretty big. I was excited, but also so freakin scared that at any moment it would freak out with me on it. It wasn’t even actually to ride rather a show where kids can get on and honestly I weigh nothing and am small, so the owners let me. Lol.

Sadly, I couldn’t last the entire duration cause was too scared and really just thanks anxiety.

Here’s a hot take: OurCiel didn’t inherit asthma.

And as we all know, OC was extremely sick the next morning and couldn’t go on the boating trip.
Honey might have been in the milk, but I’m betting there was something else in the milk. A lot of poisons are sweet, and are only lethal in certain amounts.

And then, fast forward to much later–

Why wouldn’t he be coughing and unspeakably ill in such deplorable, utterly filthy conditions?
He’s a sickly child, after all. With an Aunt who is a doctor with the best care he could have had he was often sick at home.
After all the abuse he was subjected to in such a terrible place for MONTHS– no coughing? Nothing?

This is the first thing RCiel says to his brother. He scolds him for being outside in the rain and delivers this line.
Theory: Real Ciel was hiding some dark, dark turmoil as a small child. From everyone, even his own family, his twin, and his dear butler. Likely he had a serious case of munchausen by proxy.

While RC may or may not be the mastermind behind everything, he had problems well before he became a bizarre doll.

While OC was later shown having asthma attacks, it very well could have been asthma induced by the poisons he was subjected to as a small child, between the ages of five, to ten.
If he was indeed poisoned for five years it surely had some effect on his health and lungs– but it would not be as predictable and as simple to treat as an ordinary case of naturally inherited asthma.

Just a little note from someone with asthma.

If your asthma is acting up, milk is the last thing you want to drink. It can trigger a really bad asthma attack. I’ve had it happen to me before.

Omg, I have now completed 1,057 out of the 1,500 required word count for my research paper!! And all in like half a day. It took so many hours of work with only two break periods. Started at 2:30 and it is now 10:30 :’)
