Men donât have handbags and donât want them – They would, however, like to carry their daily essentials such as their tablet or water bottle without a rucksack.
Luckily a Chicago-based inventor, Hiral Sanghavi has come to men and womenâs aid with a multipurpose hooded coat nicknamed the âSwiss Army Jacketâ.
Equipped not only with countless pockets for various accessories and technology, the Baubax jacket hides a neck pillow and eye mask in the hood – commuting may never be the same again.
You just need to remember where youâve put everything (Picture: Caters)
Hiral, 29, said: âThere are a lot of features that we wanted to include on the jacket, but the built in neck pillow is one of the primary ones.
âWe wanted to offer creative lifestyle products with a variety of different designs for men and women, so we have created jackets, blazers and even bomber jackets.â
So far this crowdfunded project has over 15,000 backers and raised $2,671,000 (ÂŁ1,711,551) with 38 days to go before its funding deadline.
Donât think Mr Sanghavi will need to bother with Dragonâs Den
Sometimes good posts are made by annoying people so Iâll help out
These are Safe Shorts. They were made by Sandra Seilz after someone attempted to rape her. If the fabric is torn, an alarm will be sounded.
This is the Rape-aXe, invented by a South African doctor by the name ofÂ
Sonnet Ehlers. After interviewing a rape victim who wished she had teeth down there, she made this. If someoneâs penis is inserted and pulled back out, the teeth will sink in, and can only be removed by a doctor.
The Killer Tampon (couldnât find a site for it), made by retired anaesthetist Jaap Haumann. When penetration takes place, the sharp end will slice the offending appendage.
The Anti-Rape Belt (also couldnât find a site), made by a group of Swedish teenagers led by Nadja Björk. It requires two hands to undo.
Anti-Rape Underwear/Bra (once again), as made by a group of Indian students. Will deliver an electric shock when met with unwanted advances, as well as sounding an alarm.
Undercover Colours. Made by 4 male undergraduates at North Carolina U, they change colours when in contact with chemicals or drugs that cause unconsciousness. Used in case youâre wary that your drink has been roofied.
These are just tools to help, but in addition to being mindful of your situations and staying safe, they can help when the worst happens.
Stay safe.
ok, those are all kind of awesome. i wish they werenât needed, bit stillâŠawesome solutions.
I feel more comfortable reblogging this version
RapeAxe has a gofund me up that barely has 700 dollars. I feel like the inventions that havent even been funded yet should be linked to the page you can support them at.
Cat calling is NOT cute. It makes women uncomfortable. Your sexual comments are not welcome. Even shouting a âhey beautifulâ is NOT welcome. We just want to go about our day. From my own experience and my friends, weâve been cat called since 9-10 years old, some even younger. Thatâs outright disgusting and atrocious. No one should feel uneasy to walk down streets. Please spread this awareness!
This Big Enter key was developed by a Japanese worker named Eisaku Haba. One day he was stressed out from working long hours, he accidentally hit his enter key on his computer a bit too hard and destroyed his keyboard. He came up with a idea of making an enter key thatâs unbreakable and a button that is Much bigger than the real key.
Regular nail clippers are kind of the worstâso small and fiddly and hard to hold, especially if you have any joint or coordination problems!
But baby nail clippers? Thatâs a whole other story. Youâd be surprised how much easier the whole process is with a bigger grip, and there are even more neat features to be had!
Dark/black shouldnât always be associated with evil or bad things. In Egypt and Islam, black is a positive color. For desert cultures, black would have been the color of fertile soil and the cooler, more comfortable nights, while white was the color of infertile sand and harsh sunlight. Shade, shelter, and darkness were important and valued for protection from the sun and sand. Clouds that darkened the sky brought life giving rain
What is even more ironic is that the white wedding dress has nothing to do with the virginal or pure state of the bride. Â It is nothing more than a fashion trend that began 175 years ago, when Queen Victoria married Prince Albert. Â She wore a white dress as a means to show that she was a âsimpleâ woman who was getting married. Â And she wanted a dress to match some lace she had purchased.
Fun Fact: when a Moroccan woman covers herself in white from head to toe it probably means that she has just been widowed and is grieving over her husband. Itâs not really a happy color.
